New Beer Alert: Waves Rise is back!
Were excited to release the 2024 edition of our International Women’s Day brew, Waves Rise!
This year our team brewed a light, dry and crisp Champagne IPA with mild aromas of peach and stone fruit. This 5.8% IPA was brewed to please both hop lovers and those who prefer a lighter beer!
We were happy to use the Yakima Chief Pink Boots hops, which directly supports the Pink Boots Society, an organization created to assist, inspire, and encourage women in the brewing industry. A portion of sales from every can sold will be donated to local women’s charities!
The can design plays off of last year’s Waves Rise can, with a cheers to this celebratory ale, brewed in conjunction with International Women’s day. The horizontal lines are a representation of a month of tide heights in Cape Breton. The name “Waves Rise” comes from the Hymn to Ninkasi, who is the goddess of beer and brewing.
