Breton Brewing Fall Seasonal Beers!
Many argue that the autumn season is the best time of year on Cape Breton Island. From the beautiful fall foliage that provides some of the worlds most scenic views, to the refreshingly crisp autumn air, to the great events taking place such as Celtic Colours, there’s a little bit of magic when this time of the year rolls around.
Here at Breton Brewing we’ve tried to capture that magic and bottle it with our two enormously popular fall seasonal beers!
Jack’d Up Pumpkin Ale
From latte’s to lagers, one thing we can all get behind is a little bit of pumpkin spice. No fall season would be complete without it! We realized this early on and thus our Jack’d Up Pumpkin Ale was born! Brewed with over 150lbs of pumpkin and perfectly spiced to give it that hint of Grandma’s delicious pumpkin pie! Always a crowd favourite, Pumpkin Ale comes with the option to add a cinnamon sugar rim which take its over the top!

Celtic Colours Maple Lager
In celebration of Celtic Colours, a nine-day festival that celebrates Cape Breton’s rich culture through music and events, we’ve created a special Maple Lager. This lager is brewed with Acadian Maple Syrup straight from Wolfville, which elicits a smooth maple aroma and flavour that pairs perfectly with the crisp fall air.
This lager is about more than just brewing good beer. We want to support the local music scene and all the amazing artists we have here on Cape Breton. The Celtic Colour Festival is a great place for these individuals to showcase their talents, and we love to pay homage to them through this beer. After all, great beer and music go hand in hand.
