Jason Ogden is the songwriting force behind Penny Blacks, one of New Brunswick’s most critically decorated bands. Their sophomore full-length effort, Long Lights, was named the Maritime Edit’s favourite album of 2017, and the title track won Best Song at the 2018 Saint John Music Poll. Recently nominated for SOCAN song of the year and two album awards at the 2018 Prix MNB Awards, Ogden continues to flesh out and debut new material on the road in Penny Blacks’ original solo format as well as touring with the band.
